Uploading custom styles for dashboard spaces

To make a customized style available for use in a space, upload it so that users can see it in a list of styles.

Before you begin

To upload a custom style, you must connect to the WebDav folder. See Connecting to the WebDav folder to customize dashboard spaces.

The following procedure and example assume that you created or customized a style called "custom."

Procedure

  1. Make sure that the custom.js file that contains the details of the custom style is saved in the custom folder.
  2. Upload the customized folder and the custom.js file to the spaceStyle folder in WebDAV.
  3. When the upload is finished, clear your cache and restart the server.

Results

The next time that you create a space, your customized style will be available as a choice in the Create Space dialog box.
