The BIND and PRECOMPILE commands
create or change an application package. On either one, use the OWNER option
to name the owner of the resulting package.
About this task
There are simple rules for naming the owner of a package:
- Any user can name themselves as the owner. This is the default
if the OWNER option is not specified.
- A user ID with DBADM authority can name any
authorization ID as the owner using the OWNER option.
Not all operating systems that can bind a package using DB2® database products support the OWNER option.
