To install the warehouse server components of DB2® Warehouse,
you must have root or administrator authority. You can install the
warehouse client components as a non-root user or as a user with elevated
privileges.
Ensure that you have the following user
authorities:
- To install the data server components
On Windows, you must
have administrator authority.
On Linux and UNIX, you must have root authority.
- To install the application server components
On Windows, you must
have administrator authority.
On Linux and UNIX, you must have root authority.
- To install the warehouse client components
On Windows, you must
have administrator authority or elevated privileges.
