Anchored data type
An anchored data type is a data type that is defined to
be the same as that of another object. If the underlying object data
type changes, the anchored data type also changes.
Row types
A row data type is a user-defined type containing an ordered
sequence of named fields each with an associated data type.
Array types
An array type is a user-defined data type consisting of
an ordered set of elements of a single data type.
Cursor types
A cursor type can be the built-in data type CURSOR or a
user-defined type that is based on the built-in CURSOR data type.
A user-defined cursor type can also be defined with a specific row
type to restrict the attributes of the result row of the associated
cursor.
Boolean data type
The BOOLEAN type is a built-in data type that can only
be used for local variables, global variables, parameters, or return
types in compound SQL (compiled) statements. A Boolean value represents
a truth value of TRUE or FALSE. A Boolean expression or predicate
can result in a value of unknown, which is represented as the null
value.
