You can use the IBM® Data Server Driver configuration keywords
to configure connections to supported databases through embedded
SQL, ODBC, CLI, .NET, OLE DB, or open source (Perl, PHP. Python,
or Ruby) applications.
The keywords are
associated with the database alias name, and affect all the applications
that access that database. These keywords and their corresponding
values are stored in the db2dsdriver.cfg file.
