Job DSNTIJUM defines the Db2 data-only offline message generator CCSID (DSNHMCID) module which is needed for message conversion by Db2 applications and utilities.

You run job DSNTIJUM as part of the following tasks Db2 12 installation and migration tasks:

Installation step 6: Define Db2 initialization parameters: DSNTIJUZ, DSNTIJUA, DSNTIJUM, and DSNTIJUL
Migration step 11: Define Db2 12 initialization parameters: DSNTIJUZ, DSNTIJUA, and DSNTIJUM
Defining Db2 initialization parameters for enabling data sharing

DSNHMCID is link-edited into both the prefix.SDSNEXIT and prefix.SDSNLOAD libraries.

Run this job when installing or migrating to Db2 12.

DSNTIJUM also contains a disabled job step, DSNTIMQ, that can be enabled to set up a GENASM entry in SMP/E for the offline message generator CCSID (DSNHMCIM) macro. The GENASM entry causes service to DSNHMCIM to trigger SMP/E to initiate a reassembly of the DB2 offline message generator CCSID module.
