Application defaults parameters

An application defaults load module, dsnhdecp, is generated as part of installing or migrating Db2. In a data sharing environment, this module is generated only for the first member that is installed or migrated.

If you provide a separate dsnhdecp module for each member, use the same dsnhdecp settings (except for the SSID parameter) for all members of the data sharing group. If you provide a separate dsnhdecp module for each member, after you activate a new function level, identify the jobs that you use to maintain those dsnhdecp modules. You must modify those jobs to specify SQLLEVEL=V12R1M500 or higher, and then run those jobs.
