Highlighting elements in an instance graph

The instance graph supports highlighting so that you can easily see related artifacts in the graph.

1. In the Instance Graph view, right-click an operator or a stream.
2. Select one of the following options:

   Table 1. Highlighting options for operators and connections

   Option	Description
   Highlight upstream	Highlights all connections and operators that flow into the selected operator or a stream.
   Highlight downstream	Highlights all connections and operators that the selected operator or connection flows into.
   Highlight both directions	Highlights all upstream and downstream connections and operators that are related to the selected operator.
   Highlight Same PE1	Highlights all operators that are contained in the same PE as the selected operator.
   Highlight Same Host1	Highlights all operators that run on the same host on the selected operator.

   Note: ¹ This option applies only to operators.
3. To remove the highlighting, right-click an operator or a stream, and then click Unhighlight.
