Configuring service requests

Administrators can use the Service Request Configuration page of the Administration Work Center to configure the options that users have when they create service requests.

Before you can access the Administration Work Center, you must be assigned to the MAXADMIN security group. The default administrative user ID is maxadmin.

You can configure categories for users to select from when they create new requests, allow guest users to create requests, and set default values for service requests that are created in Work Centers.

To configure service requests, you must have access to do so. In the Security Groups application, go to the Applications tab and select Administration Work Center. Select the Grant Access checkbox for the View Service Request Configuration option.
