Creating a new object type

About this task

To create a new object type:

Procedure

  1. In the Remote Systems view, right-click your Objects subsystem and select Work With > Named Types.
  2. On the Work With Named Types window, expand New and click Object type.
  3. Type a name for the new type.
  4. Specify the object type. Click Browse to display a set of valid object types.
  5. Specify the object attribute. Click Browse to display a set of valid object attributes.
  6. Click Add.
  7. Click Apply. The new object type is appended to the end of list.
  8. Click Close.
