Creating an Ontolection

As mentioned in the introduction to this tutorial, adding enterprise data such as a thesaurus to a Watson™ Explorer Engine application is done by crawling that data to produce an ontolection that can be used internally by Watson Explorer Engine to identify and suggest related or alternate terms. An ontolection provides a set of related terms that are specific to the domain of an application or enterprise, and identifies the relationships between them.

This section of the tutorial explains how to create your own ontolection from a small sample thesaurus that is provided as part of your Watson Explorer Engine installation, and then illustrates how to use this ontolection with an existing search project, in this case the sample search project refinement-project that was used in the first part of this tutorial.
