Uploading policy files to the MaaS360 Portal

The Policy Files page displays the policy files (certificates, images, custom OMA settings) and policy settings for devices in the MaaS360® Portal. Administrators can upload content files to policy settings and then apply those settings to devices with this policy.

About this task

Note:

Using Policy Files, you can upload only Certificate Authority (CA) certificate files such as *.crt, *.cer, *.pem, *.der. For Device Identity and User certificates use Cloud Extender (CE).

From the Policies page, select a policy, and then apply the custom policy file setting that you want to use. Save and publish the policy to apply the content in the policy files on the device.

Procedure

  1. From the MaaS360 Portal Home page, select Security > Policy Management > Policies > More > Policy Files.
  2. Click Upload Content.
The Upload Policy Files window is displayed.
  3. Enter the name of the content to uniquely identify the policy file.
