Android bulk enrollment

You can use Android Configurator to enroll a large number of Android devices into MaaS360.

Enterprises purchase devices in a large number and deploy to their staff for various operations. For example, nurses use these devices to access patient information, line-of-business staff use as scanners for day-to-day operations, and retail stores use devices in self-service kiosk experiences. The IT staff must set up the devices quickly, install required apps, apply corporate restrictions, and ship the devices to users.

Bulk enrollment is an efficient and streamlined way to enroll devices, compared to the regular enrollment. It automates most of the steps and requires minimal inputs from users. After the enrollment, the device ownership is marked as corporate shared.

Common use cases

  • Set up kiosk mode to restrict the devices to a single or limited applications.
  • Provision devices for corporate sharing to allow the devices to be shared across multiple users. When a user signs in to the MaaS360 app with corporate or MaaS360 credentials, the level of access to data, applications, and features is based on the group evaluation. When the user logs out of the MaaS360 app, MaaS360 removes the apps and policies that are distributed to the user profile.
