User Provisioning
You need to provision customers or vendors into Acoustic Personalization so that they can create their organization and opt for trial or paid subscription.
- To provision a trial account, contact your IBM representative, or visit this web page and click Contact.
Prerequisites
- Ensure that you are already provisioned to Acoustic Personalization.
- Manage Users option is only available to the users for whom Subscription administrators check box was selected when they were provisioned to Acoustic Personalization.
Adding a user to the organization
You can add one or more users to your organization.
- Go to Dashboard. You can see the Acoustic Personalization offering. Click Manage.
- Click Manage Users and then click Add new user.
- Provide the required user details. Ensure that you select the License user
check box. The Subscription administrator check box is
optional. Note: If the Subscription administrator check box is not selected for a user, the user will not see Manage users option.
- Click Submit.
- You'll receive two emails.
- The first email is an invitation email. Click Accept Invitation.
- The second email is a verification email with the subject "New user registration". Copy the registration code and paste it in the verification code box from the invitation form.
- When the portal opens, click Acoustic Personalization from the menu.
Adding multiple users to organization
You can add multiple users to your organization.
- Open IBM Dashboard. You can see the Acoustic Personalization offering. Click Manage.
- Click Manage Users and then click Add multiple users.
- To download the file, click Use this CSV file to upload multiple users.
Tip: Ensure that your file contains no more than 1000 user records.
- Enter the user details in the CSV file.
- Click Select file to upload the CSV file.
- Refresh the page. The users are added in the organization.
- The user accepts the Invitation email and clicks Accept Invitation to set his password.
- He also receives a New User Registration email, which contains the verification code. He copies the passcode and pastes it in the verification code box in the Invitation form.
- He is then redirected to Acoustic Personalization login page.
Removing users from the organization
You can remove a user from your organization.
- Open IBM Dashboard. You can see the Acoustic Personalization offering.
- Click Manage option from the offering. Click Manage Users.
- Expand the menu next to the user's status and select both Roles.
- Click Remove user.
- Confirmation pop-up window opens. To remove the user, click Yes, remove user.
- Refresh the page.
- The Licensed user is removed. The user receives an email that he is removed from the organization.
- If you had selected the Subscription administrator check box when adding the user, go to Subscription administrators tab.
- Expand the menu and click Remove user.
- The user is now removed from the organization.
Canceling a subscription
You can cancel the subscription to delete the organization and the associated users.
Only the user who created the organization can cancel its plan. Canceling a plan deletes it, along with all the users associated with the plan. The users of the deleted plan receive an email informing that the organization has been deleted/canceled and they will not see it on the dashboard as an offering.
If the users are added to multiple organizations, then they can still see the other organizations (which have not been deleted) on the dashboard.
- Open IBM Dashboard. You can see the Acoustic Personalization offering. Click Manage.
- Click Overview. Click Cancel plan.
- A confirmation window appears. Select the terms and conditions check box and click Cancel plan .
The organization is deleted and its associated users are removed. The users associated with the deleted organization cannot see the Acoustic Personalization offering on the IBM dashboard.
