Registering Acoustic Personalization as endpoint in Acoustic Exchange

You must register Acoustic Personalization as an endpoint in Acoustic Exchange.

Prerequisites

  • You must enable every channel that you want to personalize in Acoustic Exchange Capture using the same Acoustic Exchange account.
  • Ensure that Acoustic Personalization endpoint is created in Acoustic Exchange.
Tip: To create Acoustic Personalization endpoint in Acoustic Exchange, refer this IBM Knowledge Center documentation

Register endpoints in Acoustic Exchange

  1. In Acoustic Exchange, go to Endpoints tab.
  2. Click Register a new endpoint.
  3. Search and select Real-Time Personalization Publisher.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Register. A message appears: Thanks! We got it.
  6. Click Close. Application is displayed in the list with Status as Pending.
  7. Refresh the page or check the page after few minutes to see whether the endpoint is enabled.
Repeat these steps for Real-Time Personalization Subscriber.
Make a note of Real-Time Personalization Publisher Authentication Key, which is required in Acoustic Exchange Capture Configuration.
Note:

You must subscribe all the events from Real-Time Personalization Publisher to Real-Time Personalization Subscriber.

Even if you want to personalize multiple channels, you need to create only one Real-Time Personalization Publisher endpoint and one Real-Time Personalization Subscriber endpoint. Events data from all the analytics libraries (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or IBM Digital Analytics) should flow into the single Real-Time Personalization Subscriber endpoint.

In Acoustic Exchange Capture, create a Acoustic Personalization offering for each of the channel that you want to personalize and provide the appropriate channel tenant ID to the setTenantId function.
