Prerequisites for Acoustic Personalization
Ensure that all the prerequisites are completed before you use Acoustic Personalization.
To use Acoustic Personalization, you need the following access privileges:
- Access to the content (for example, images, audio, video) to be used for personalization.
Content can either be pulled from Acoustic Content or accessed from a publicly-hosted URL.
Ensure that the API URL that you register in Acoustic Personalization is the same that is used in
your channel to create or update the content.

- The person responsible for setting up the website for personalization should have edit permissions on the website.
- You must have a Acoustic Exchange account. If you already have a Acoustic Exchange
account, you can use the same account for one or more channels that you want to register in Acoustic Exchange.

The channel that you want to personalize using Acoustic Personalization must meet the
following prerequisites:
- Ensure that the channel you want to personalize is either a Single-Page Application (SPA), a Multi-Page Application (MPA), or a simple HTML site (Native App).
- Ensure that the website is configured with a tagging and analytics library (such as Google
Analytics or Adobe Analytics) for tagging and collecting user
behavior for the supported events, which are used for creating the rules for personalization.

- Ensure that the website has predefined zones and each zone is uniquely identified by a Zone ID.

- Ensure that the zones you want to personalize are subscribed to Acoustic Personalization.

- If the website that is personalized is a dynamic website or a Single-Page Application (SPA),
deploy the Online Engine from the Artifactory.

- Ensure that the website has a rendering engine to render (display) the personalized content returned by Acoustic Personalization.
