Registering tagging libraries in Acoustic Exchange

You must register a tagging and analytics library, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, in Acoustic Exchange.

Note: Acoustic Exchange was formerly known as IBM Universal Behavior Exchange (UBX).

Prerequisites

  • You must enable every channel that you want to personalize in Acoustic Exchange Capture using the same Acoustic Exchange account.
  • Ensure that Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics endpoint is created in Acoustic Exchange.

Registering Google Analytics endpoint in Acoustic Exchange

  1. Log in to Acoustic Exchange.
  2. Go to Endpoints tab.
  3. Click Register a new endpoint.
  4. Search and select Google Analytics.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the left panel, click the link that is labeled Click here.
  7. The Google Analytics page opens. Log in with your account.
  8. Copy the token that is generated.
  9. Go to Acoustic Exchange screen and paste the copied token in the Refresh token field.
  10. Click Register. A message appears: Thanks! We got it.
  11. Click Close. Application is displayed in the list with Status as Pending.
  12. Refresh the page or check the page after few minutes to see whether the Google Analytics endpoint is enabled.

Registering Adobe Analytics endpoint in Acoustic Exchange

  1. Log in to Acoustic Exchange.
  2. Go to Endpoints tab.
  3. Click Register a new endpoint.
  4. Search and select Adobe Analytics.
  5. Click Next.
  6. From the Deployment list, select the appropriate deployment, for example UBX Adobe Analytics Deployment. Optionally, you can also provide additional details such as Endpoint alias and the Endpoint description, in their respective fields.
  7. Click Register. A message appears: Thanks! We got it.
  8. Click Close. Application is displayed in the list with Status as Pending.
  9. Refresh the page or check the page after few minutes to see whether the Adobe Analytics endpoint is enabled.

Registering IBM Digital Analytics endpoint in Acoustic Exchange

  1. Log in to Acoustic Exchange.
  2. Go to Endpoints tab.
  3. Click Register a new endpoint.
  4. Search and select IBM Digital Analytics.
  5. Click Next.
  6. In the Endpoint alias field, enter an alias for this IBM Digital Analytics endpoint. This is an optional parameter. Additionally, you can also provide a description for the endpoint.
  7. Click Register. A message appears: Thanks! We got it.
  8. Click Close. Application is displayed in the list with Status as Pending.
  9. Refresh the page or check the page after few minutes to see whether the IBM Digital Analytics endpoint is enabled.
