Disaster recovery

Disaster recovery might be required in cases where your data center becomes disabled due to such events as equipment failures, malicious cyberattacks, or even natural disasters. Disaster recovery for Integrated Analytics System involves restoring from the most recent backup.

Important: Only the database administrator (bluadmin) can run backup and restore commands.

In cases where the system is recovering from abnormal failures, the time to recover the file system and then the database can extend the time to bring the system back online. Current estimates of the time to recover are at least 45 minutes (after the restore completes), depending on the sizes of the file system and database.
