Dual client installation scenarios

IBM® Client Application Access (ICAA) and IBM Notes® release 9.0 or later can co-exist on your system. In this case, you can use either Notes or ICAA. When you open an application and Notes is not running, the application is opened in ICAA.

The following table describes dual-client installation scenarios, both supported and unsupported. Review these scenarios before you install ICAA.
Note: In the following table, ICAA refers to ICAA release 1.0.1 or later.
