Transaction Tracking supported domains

Transaction Tracking tracks transactions within and between applications and domains. Transaction Tracking supports a set of domains but any domain can be configured to feed data into it.

Domain through domain tracking
Transaction Tracking tracks transactions across different domains. The Data Collector plug-in is used to transfer data between applications and a Transaction Collector.

Before you can track transactions on supported domains you must prepare those domains.
Displaying data in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal
When the support files for the domains are installed and the domains are configured, transaction tracking data is available to Transaction Tracking and then for display in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal. How the data is transformed and represented is dependent on the domain.

How transactions are tracked
Specific domain tracking technologies and IDs are used to track transactions within and between applications and domains. If you want to track transactions using custom domains you need to understand how the tracking technologies and IDs are used by Transaction Tracking.
