Upgrade and Installation Issues and Resolutions

There are resolutions for issues that pertain to upgrading and installing.

Defect 250026

Issue: After installation of the Sterling B2B Integrator 5.2.2 patch, errors similar to the following may be seen in the InstallService.log.

Error: No version directories found in installed_data/patch
/components/*/jars/backups.

Resolution: These log messages do not indicate a problem and may be safely ignored.

Defect 249793

Issue: During installation of Sterling B2B Integrator Patch 5.2.2, if you deselect the Apply schema automatically checkbox, the installer displays a "fail" error.

Resolution: If you receive a "fail" error after deselecting the Apply schema automatically checkbox during the 5.2.2 install, verify that the error did not occur because of a legitimate reason causing the install to fail. If nothing occurred during the install to legitimately cause it to fail, ignore the error and proceed with the rest of the installation process.
