Stops all Tivoli® Monitoring Services.
-p |--product_code
Stops an agent with a specified product code. When stopping an OS monitoring agent, you must use the OsAgentStopConfirmed parameter.
-pi |--product_code name
Stops an agent instance with a specified product code and name.
-s |--product_code
Starts an agent with a specified product code.
-si |--product_code name
Starts an agent instance with a specified product code and name.
-g |--product_code
Starts an agent with a specified product code without waiting.
-gi |--product_code name
Starts an agent instance with a specified product code and name without waiting.

Displays the agent user defaults dialog box only.

Displays Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server configuration dialog boxes, db = MSSQL, DB2®, ORACLE, ORACLERMT or MSDE(V190 only).
-dSNdb
Same as -dSdb but without presentation files.
-dDNS
Same as -ddD except a secondary Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server is not allowed.
-dN
Establishes Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server defaults.
-dA
Establishes agent defaults.
-is
Starts all services on interactive launch.
-Lfile
Specifies a log file.
-mS
Changes the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server configuration to a manual startup.
-rS
Reconfigures the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server.
-rS{a|d|ad}
Reconfigures the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server (OMEGAMON® Enabled). XX=a for AE, d for DE, or ad for both.
-w |--product_code name
Creates a new instance of an agent with a specified instance name.
-z |--product_code location
Creates a parameter file for an agent at a specified location.
-OsAgentStopConfirmed
Mandatory when stopping an OS monitoring agent.
-o
Passes additional parameters for distribution list settings. The following three values are available: All, New, and None. If this option is omitted, the default is New.

CLI example

The following example specifies silent mode with both Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server and Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server support being added to the monitoring server. The location of the log file is also specified, and that the default distribution lists will be upgraded for all support packages:

KinConfg.exe -n -fb -oTEMS_SEED_DL=ALL -L"C:\output.log"
