This book provides instruction on setting your system up. These instructions are for 7043 Model 260 systems that have internal options (such as adapters, disk drives, or memory upgrades) already installed. If you have internal options that are not installed, go to "Installing Options" in the User's Guide, order number SA38-0553, shipped with your system.

Service Guide SA38-0554 PDF (10MB)

This book provides maintenance information that is specific to the system unit, adapters, and attached devices that do not have their own service information.

This book also contains Maintenance Analysis Procedures (MAPs) that are not common with other systems. MAPs that are common to all systems are contained in the Diagnostic Information for Multiple Bus Systems.

This book is used by a service technician to diagnose and repair system failures. This book assumes that the service technician has had previous training on the 7043 Model 260.
