Power supply LEDs

Learn about the different states of the power supply LEDs and how they can be used to identify or verify a power supply you are servicing.

The power supply has three light-emitting diodes (LEDs) which indicate the power supply status: two green LEDs (ac power good and dc power good), and one amber LED.

To locate the power supply LEDs look on the top or back of an exposed power supply. You might have to remove covers or panels to expose the power supply. Follow the instructions to remove covers or panels for the power supply you are working with, then return here.
