Media device for models 285, 52x, 55x, and 720

Learn how to install, or remove and replace a media device.

The Slimline media-device enclosure can contain a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM device. The optional media-device bay can contain a Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) media device, such as a tape drive.

Note: The media bays in these models do not support removing or replacing devices with the system powered on.
