unmanageV7000 command

Use the unmanageV7000 command to remove a specified IBM® Storwize® V7000 storage subsystem from management by the management software.

Parameters

Two parameters are required to unmanage a V7000.

-i | --ipaddress
The management IP address of the V7000.
-p | --password
The password of user superuser of the V7000. If this option is not specified, the user will be prompted for a value.

Synopsis

smcli unmanageV7000 [-i | -ipaddress V7000_ip_address]

smcli unmanageV7000 [-h | -? | --help]

Example

Unmanage a Storwize V7000 storage subsystem that has the cluster IP address 9.27.20.225:
smcli unmanageV7000 -i 9.27.20.225
Note: Specifying credentials from a command prompt presents a security risk, since they might be recorded in the shell or other operating-system areas.
