Remote access commands

Use the commands in this section to work with remote systems.

smcli commands

The following smcli commands are available for remote access:

dconsole command
Use the dconsole command to run a remote serial console from the IBM® Flex System Manager CLI with the purpose of opening the serial console to IBM Power® managed systems. This command runs on IBM Flex System Manager for AIX® V6.1 TL03 or later.
dsh command
Use the dsh command to run Distributed Shell from the IBM Flex System Manager CLI with the purpose of running commands on remote systems. This command applies to IBM Flex System Manager for AIX only.
