Deleting a file system
Before deleting a file system, unmount it on all nodes.
Specify the file system to be deleted on the mmdelfs command.
For example, to delete the file system fs1, enter:
mmdelfs fs1
The system displays information similar to: GPFS: 6027-573 All data on the following disks of fs1 will be destroyed:
gpfs9nsd
gpfs13nsd
gpfs11nsd
gpfs12nsd
GPFS: 6027-574 Completed deletion of file system fs1.
mmdelfs: 6027-1371 Propagating the cluster configuration data to all
affected nodes. This is an asynchronous process.
