Removing multicluster applications from a cluster

Remove a multicluster application from a cluster using the multicluster management console.

Before you begin

  • You must be a multicluster administrator to remove multicluster applications from the cluster.
  • You might be required to enter log in credentials during these steps for an account that has the required permissions to remove the multicluster application from the cluster.

About this task

You can remove a multicluster application from a cluster from the Application Deployment page of the multicluster management console. When a multicluster application is removed, the application's workload is terminated and its historical data is deleted for the selected cluster.

Procedure

  1. From the multicluster management console, click Workload > Application Deployment.
  2. Click the application that you want to remove from the cluster.
  3. In the Deployment tab, select a cluster and click Remove from the menu.

    A warning message appears to confirm that you want to remove the application.

  4. Confirm that you want to remove the application from the cluster, terminate its workload, and delete its historical data.

Results

The application is removed from the selected cluster and its historical data is deleted.
