Licensing audits

License auditing in IBM® Spectrum Symphony is enabled by default to determine whether usage is within entitlement levels and to prevent potential license violations.

IBM Spectrum Symphony is licensed per core. For auditing purposes, core usage is calculated every day and logged to an entitlement accounting file, called ego.cluster_name.entitlement.acct file.
