Kerberos authentication between primary host and reporting database
Configure the Kerberos authentication protocol to secure communications between the management hosts and the reporting database in your cluster. This scenario supports configuring Linux® or Linux for POWER® management hosts to authenticate with Kerberos-enabled DB2® on Linux, or Windows, Linux, or Linux for POWER management hosts to authenticate with Kerberos-enabled Microsoft SQL Server on Windows.
Kerberos authentication between the primary host and reporting database is supported on all Windows, Linux, and Linux for POWER versions supported by IBM® Spectrum Symphony.
You can use authentication with Microsoft SQL Server on Windows hosts and DB2 on Linux hosts. Refer to Certified databases for supported database versions.
