Defining custom configuration for cloud hosts

Customize cloud hosts that join your cluster by defining custom configuration either during image creation or during post-provisioning (recommended). In either case, custom configuration must take effect on the cloud host before IBM® Spectrum Symphony is started on the host and it joins the cluster for the first time.

Note: When you use a post-provisioning script for a custom image (with IBM Spectrum Symphony preinstalled), automatic startup must not be enabled in the image. Disable automatic startup to prevent IBM Spectrum Symphony from starting before the post-provisioning script can be run.
