Application instances

Use IBM® Spectrum Conductor to create application instances using an application template for complex, long-running services that support your Spark applications; enabling such services to run in a shared multitenant environment.

An application instance is a collection of services and service groups that is associated with a top-level consumer. Start by creating an application instance from an application template. Then, deploy the application instance and any packages associated with it.

You can manage and monitor an application instance and drill down to manage the related services and service instances.

ASC services are created as part of your application instance. You can also manually create ASC services to leverage additional functionality for your services.
