Creating a shortcut for the new scan task

To run the scan task by using the Scancl.aspx page, you must create a shortcut in Taskmaster Web. If you are using Taskmaster DotScan to run the scan task, a shortcut is not required.

To create a shortcut for the new scan task:

1. In the Taskmaster Web client, click the Administrator tab.
2. Click the Shortcuts tab, and click New to create a new shortcut.
3. In the Selected shortcut details section, enter or select these values for the following fields:
   1. Name: Scan
   2. Description: Scan task
   3. Mode: Manual for Hold .
   4. Under Permissions, clear the check boxes and click the MyISISscan check box under Scan Job.
4. Click Save.
