The shortcuts in the Taskmaster Web client Operations tab
are mapped to one or more tasks in the Workflow tab.
You configure the shortcuts on the
Taskmaster Web
Shortcuts page,
as follows:
- Start the Taskmaster Web client,
log on to an application, and click the Administrator tab.
- Click Shortcuts.
- Click an existing shortcut to modify it, or click New to
create a shortcut.
- Enter or modify the Name and Description of
the shortcut.
- For the Mode, select one of these values
that determines the behavior of Taskmaster when a user clicks
the shortcut on the Workflow tab:
- Prompt/Web select: Taskmaster opens the highest
priority-pending job in the queue.
- Auto: Same as Prompt/Web select.
- Manual: Taskmaster displays the job
queue so that the operator can select a batch, which is either pending
or on hold.
- Manual for Hold: If there are batches on
hold, Taskmaster displays
the job queue with the jobs that are on hold. If there are no jobs
on hold, Taskmaster opens
the highest priority-pending batch in the queue.
- Under the Permissions section, click the
check box that corresponds to the task to which you want to map the
shortcut.
- Click Save.
Tip: For Taskmaster DotScan,
you can create a shortcut on your desktop that maps to a task in an
application by using the standard Microsoft Windows convention (right-click
> New > Shortcut). In
the MS Windows Create
Shortcut wizard, browse to and select the appropriate EXE
file, and append the selection with the application name and task.
The target of the new shortcut must be in the format path
to .exe file application name task
name, for example C:\Datacap\DotScan\DotScan.exe
TravelDocs VScan.
