System requirements

The Version 11.5 installation program performs a system requirements check and provides a report on the status of your computer. To view the system requirements for Version 11.5, Fix Pack 2, refer to InfoSphere Information Server V11.5.0.2 detailed system requirements.

Installing Version 11.5 Fix Pack 2

Version 11.5 Fix Pack 2 is available to install as a full installation of the InfoSphere Information Server suite or only the fix pack.
Full suite
This option is used for new installations of InfoSphere Information Server. For information about installing Version 11.5 Fix Pack 2 on a clean system, see the installation documentation.
Fix pack
This option is used to upgrade an existing installation of Version 11.5 to Version 11.5.0.2. For information about installing Version 11.5 Fix Pack 2 on a system where Version 11.5 is already installed, see this installation documentation.

Uninstalling Version 11.5 Fix Pack 2

Version 11.5 Fix Pack 2 cannot be uninstalled. You must restore to your current backup, or uninstall and reinstall your InfoSphere Information Server, Version 11.5.0.2, installation to remove the fix pack. For detailed backup and restore instructions, see the knowledge center.
