Migrating to InfoSphere Information Server, Version 11.5

Use these procedures to migrate an existing source installation to InfoSphere® Information Server, Version 11.5.

Before installing InfoSphere Information Server on the target computer, review the migration processes for your product set for the version of your source installation.

Note: Instead of migrating, users of IBM® InfoSphere Information Server, Version 11.3, can do an inplace upgrade to version 11.5 by downloading the required patch.

You can install the client tier before or after you complete the migration process.

You can install multiple engines on only Unix or Linux computers. When multiple versions of InfoSphere DataStage® are installed on a single computer, you must verify that the current environment is set for the version that you want to administer.
