Importing and exporting data quality components
You can import and export InfoSphere® Information Analyzer data quality components, including data rule definitions, rule set definitions, data rules, rule sets, global variables, and metrics from the InfoSphere Information Analyzer client. IBM® InfoSphere Information Analyzer quality components are moved from a development or test environment to one or more production environments. .
You can use this capability to import and export individual data
quality components or to move these assets from a development or test
environment to one or more production environments. In addition to
moving data quality components from development or test InfoSphere Information Server instances
to multiple production environment servers, you can also use this
capability for backup and restore purposes.
Note: To import and export
assets that are not data quality components, import or export the
project from the File > Import Project area
of the InfoSphere Information Analyzer client
or use the istool command line.
