Modifying report parameter settings

You can modify the parameter settings of saved reports in order to change the report name and description, the project associations, the output format, or to select a different location for the saved report. All new report results that are generated from the modified report inherit the new settings.

Before you begin

You must have Update permission on the report that you want to modify. Permissions are assigned in the Reporting module of the Web console.

To view or modify report settings:

Procedure

  1. Click Reports on the Workspace Navigator.
    Access the Reports workspace to run reports.
  2. Locate and select the report that you want modify from either the template or folder view.
  3. Right-click on the report and select Open Report.
  4. Page thru the report template and make changes to the parameter settings, including output format.
  5. Optional: Select Run the Report. By selecting to run the report, the report results are generated and are ready to be viewed.
  6. Optional: Select View When Completed to view report results immediately after the run completes.
  7. Click Finish to save and close the report.
