The InfoSphere DataStage and QualityStage Director client
The Director is the client component that validates, runs, schedules, and monitors jobs on the engine tier.
The Director client is the starting point for most of the tasks an IBM® InfoSphere® DataStage® operator needs to do in respect of jobs.
Note: InfoSphere
DataStage mainframe
jobs are not supported in this version. These jobs are not visible
in the Director client. In this manual the term job therefore
refers to server, sequence, and parallel jobs only.
