You can automatically open the Advanced Search Options panel when
you log in. You can also change the default list of asset types to search for.
Before you begin
You must have the Information Governance Catalog Glossary
Administrator role.
Procedure

Open a command-line window on the server where IBM® InfoSphere® Information Governance Catalog is
installed.

In the command shell, go to installation_directory\ASBServer\bin
directory, where installation_directory is the directory where IBM
InfoSphere Information Server was
installed.

To automatically open the Advanced Search Options panel when you log in,
type this command at the command-line prompt.

- iisAdmin.sh -set -key com.ibm.iis.gov.vr.setting.showSearchOptions

To define the default list of asset types to search for, type this command at the command-line
prompt.

ASSET_REST_NAME

ASSET_REST_NAME
ASSET_REST_NAME is the REST name of the asset type. To list more than one asset type, use a comma (,) to separate
the types. For example, the value might be term, database_table, database_view.
It is not necessary to restart IBM WebSphere® Application Server. InfoSphere Information Governance Catalog picks up
the new value automatically, within a minute.
