Use hardware cryptography
The hwcrypt parameter defines that the key ring is stored using hardware cryptographic functions.
hwcrypt=<on|off>
- Description
- Specify the hwcrypt=on parameter in the configuration
file to enable hardware cryptography. Hardware cryptography is managed
using an Integrated Cryptographic Services Facility (ICSF) card and
associated software on the mainframe.
This parameter is in the PRODUCT section of the configuration file.
- Default value
- The default is off.
