This tutorial familiarizes you with the process of working with requirements and the formal review process. - Lesson 1: Submit a test plan for formal review
Before you begin testing, follow the best practice by having your test plan reviewed. The Formal Review section provides a way for the entire team to collaborate in the development of the test plan. The review can help your business processes comply with applicable industry standards and regulations. - Lesson 2: Manage requirements related to the test plan
In this lesson, you learn about a new requirement that must be covered and you add it to the requirement collection. Also, a requirement is determined to be out of scope, so it is removed from the collection. - Lesson 3: Review and reject the test plan
In the previous lesson, you logged in as the product owner and managed requirements in a requirements collection. In this lesson, you login as Tammy to review and then reject the test plan because it does not include a test case to cover requirements that were added by Ursula in a previous lesson. - Lesson 4: Reconcile a test plan with its requirement collection to generate test cases
In a previous lesson, Tammy rejected the test plan because new requirements were not covered. In this lesson, you log in as Tanuj to generate test cases for the test plan from the linked requirement collection. - Lesson 5: Reconcile a test plan with its requirement collection to discover suspect test cases
In the previous lesson, you logged in as the tester, Tanuj, to reconcile a test plan with new requirements in the linked requirements collection. During the reconcile operation, you discovered that a requirement was also removed from the requirement collection. In this lesson, you continue as the tester and reconcile the test plan with requirements that have been removed to discover the impacted test cases and submit the test case for review. - Lesson 6: Approve the test plan
Earlier in this tutorial, you logged in as Tammy and rejected the test plan because all the requirements were not covered by test cases. In this lesson, you again login as Tammy to verify that the requirements are covered and approve the test plan.
