Managing test artifacts in global configurations

Global Configuration Management (GCM) is an application that assembles configurations for itself and other contributing applications so that teams can gain an overall view of the physical and logical parts of their product offering. Global configurations unite the work from across applications by visualizing the separately contributed configurations into a hierarchical tree view. Global configurations also ensure that test artifact versions resolve correctly.

About this task

Use the configuration menu to integrate with the global configuration that the other contributing configurations are part of. Also, assemble configurations into global configurations so that artifact versions that are linked across ELM applications resolve correctly. To create and manage global configurations in the Global Configuration Management application, see Managing global configurations.
