You can create a cluster of two IBM WebSphere Application
Server nodes, which are on two separate servers, using WebSphere Application
Server Network Deployment.
Before you begin
Before you can deploy a clustered environment with WebSphere
Application Server Network Deployment, ensure that you have the following
software versions and updates:
- WebSphere Application Server Network Development 7.0
- WebSphere Application Server V7.0 Fix Pack 15.
- WebSphere Application Server Updater (to install the fix pack)
- WebSphere eXtreme Scale (WXS) 7.1
In the following topics, node1 refers to
the system that will host a WebSphere Application Server for each
of the CLM applications, the deployment manager, and a WebSphere Application
Server proxy server that will act as a load balancer. node2 refers
to the system that will host a WebSphere Application Server for each
CLM cluster-enabled application.
