The Money that Matters sample project is based on a realistic
development project whose goal is to deliver Release 1 of the JKE Banking application. The sample
project includes existing artifacts as if the team already started its work. There is also an
enterprise version of the sample: Money that Matters Enterprise.
Before you begin
- Install Jazz® Team Server
and at least one of the CLM applications.
- Assign the appropriate client access licenses to the user that will install the sample project.
For example, to install the sample project in these applications (RM, CCM, and QM), you must have
the Rational Quality Manager - Quality Professional, Rational DOORS Next Generation - Analyst, and
Rational Team Concert - Developer client access licenses.
Note: The Money That Matters sample requires that the versions of all participating applications
match the version of the
Jazz Team Server.
If an application with an incompatible version is selected, an error message is displayed and no
sample projects are created.
If you have IBM®
Rational® Engineering Lifecycle Manager
installed and registered with Jazz Team Server,
you can install the RELM Basic Sample, which creates sample artifacts in the RELM application. If
you have CLM applications (RM, CCM, and QM) installed and registered with Jazz Team Server,
installing RELM Basic Sample also creates Money that Matters artifacts in those
applications.
The Money That Matters sample project does not work with Rhapsody Design
Management and if Design Management is selected to be included during the creation of the sample
project, the attempt to create the project will fail. However, Rational Software Architect Design
Management is compatible with Money That Matters sample project and can be used.
About this task
