Workflow Designer

Workflow Designer is a development and test environment in Business Automation Studio where you create, develop, and test workflow automations (workflows) that you install and run in IBM Cloud Pak® for Automation.

You create workflow automations and workflow automation services in Workflow Designer. For more information, see Workflow automations and Workflow automation services.

Also in Workflow Designer, you author process and case workflows in the same way as you author processes and cases in the on-premises Process Designer and Case Builder. For more information, see Process Designer and Case Builder.

If you have processes and cases that you created in IBM Business Automation Workflow, you can import them into IBM Cloud Pak for Automation and modify them in Workflow designer.
