Why is the attachment in my email not tracked?

After a contact opens a sent email with an attachment, the single mailing report shows No attachment downloaded.

The single mailing report does not track your download if it is embedded in the email. To make sure that your attachments are tracked, complete the following steps.

Procedure

  1. In your email template, go to Advanced Settings.
  2. Clear the Embedded in Mailing option.
