Publishing master data using IBM MDM Publisher

The IBM® MDM Publisher component enables you to create data subscriptions for all, or subsets of, the master data in your InfoSphere® MDM system.

The MDM Publisher enables bulk loads of master data as well as ongoing synchronization. The synchronization is performed using the Apache Kafka messaging platform. Once you configure your data subscriptions using a web user interface, MDM Publisher generates and deploys the necessary data movement capabilities.

Depending on your data publishing requirements, you can set up multiple MDM Publisher subscriptions with different data scopes. This provides you with the flexibility to replicate your master data to the necessary application instances.

This type of connection enables you to publish master data from InfoSphere MDM Advanced Edition or Standard Edition, through MDM Publisher, to the IBM Match 360 service on IBM Cloud Pak® for Data or IBM Cloud® Pack for Data as a Service.

The IBM Master Data Connect feature of InfoSphere MDM

This type of connection enables you to publish master data from InfoSphere MDM Advanced Edition or Standard Edition, through MDM Publisher, to the Master Data Connect feature of InfoSphere MDM.
