Guidelines for new synchronization inquiry levels

If you determine that the default implementation of inquiry level 99 is not sufficient, then create a replacement synchronization inquiry level rather than modifying inquiry level 99. Implement the new inquiry level where necessary.

When you create an inquiry level, both PartyDerivedDataSynchBObjProvider and EMEEntityLoaderRule are available for use in com.ibm.mdm.server.extrules.default.

Use these guidelines to create an inquiry level for synchronization:
  • Remove unwanted business object data from the generated SQL to improve performance.
  • Modify the query to return both active and inactive party records. Both active and inactive records are required for synchronization activities.

After creating your synchronization inquiry level, use it to replace inquiry level 99 in those situations in which inquiry level 99 is insufficient.
